![]() ![]() Īfter obtaining the Rune, the Master Cycle Zero will appear on the loading screen alongside the Divine Beasts. Monk Maz Koshia explains that the Master Cycle Zero was intended for the "one true hero," before returning him to the Great Plateau. In recognition of Link's accomplishments as the Hero of Hyrule Kingdom, Monk Maz Koshia summons the Guidance Stone housing the Master Cycle Zero Rune, allowing Link to claim his reward. The Master Cycle Zero is a Rune obtained after defeating Monk Maz Koshia in the " EX The Champions' Ballad" Main Quest. However unlike Horses, it requires Fuel which can be produced by filling its tank with materials. Like a Horse, Link can mount and ride it, engage in mounted combat while riding it, and use it to run over enemies. Link can activate it via the Master Cycle Zero Rune which allows him to summon the Master Cycle Zero, though he is unable to do this in certain areas such as Gerudo Desert. Due to its Horse design, certain characters like Konba identify it as such. Like the other Divine Beasts, it is modelled after an animal, specifically a Horse though unlike the other Divine Beasts it is much smaller in comparison and takes the form of a motorcycle with a horse motif. After defeating the monk as part of his final trial, he will award Link with the Master Cycle Zero, a Divine Beast created for the "true hero". Īs part of the " EX The Champions' Ballad" Main Quest, it is revealed that the Hylian Champion can acquire a Divine Beast of his own through completing the trials given by Monk Maz Koshia. After defeating or evading the Guardians, the Travel Medallion can be found on the southern central wall. The Master Cycle Zero is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series. Drop down the hole and be prepared to face a number of stationary Guardians. Outside of the shrine, there's a hole in the ground with a gust of wind coming out of it. Note that the shrine must be completed beforehand, otherwise the medallion isn't accessible. Using the hints gleaned from the journal, it can be deduced that the Travel Medallion is located at the Tu Ka'loh Shrine, which is found at the North-East corner of the map. To obtain the medallion, start the Teleportation Rumors quest by heading over to the South Akkala Stable and reading the new Super Rumor Mill journal. Normally a torch is required to navigate through the forest, but for this quest, simply keep running in the same direction from the two torches, even when the wind changes, and the Korok Mask will be found in a special chest hidden in a tree.Ĭompleting this new side-quest yields a handy new item called the Travel Medallion, which allows players to set a custom fast travel point wherever they want on the map. From here, take note of which direction the embers are blown and head towards there. Upon reading the riddle, it can be quickly deciphered that the Korok Mask is hidden in the Lost Woods.Įnter the Lost Woods as per usual and follow the torches as Link normally would, right up until reaching the area with the final two torches. To find this super-useful mask, players need to complete the EX Strange Mask Rumors side-quest, which is accessed from a new Super Rumor Mill journal found at the Woodland Stable. However, with the Korok Mask, this task will be made much easier as it will alert players whenever they are near a hidden Korok Seed. Korok Seeds are a must for players who intend on expanding Link's inventory and thus the ability to carry more gear, but with 900 seeds scattered throughout the massive Hyrule map, finding all of them is a monumentally tedious task.
